QCC Insurance Company; Individual Medically Underwritten Rate Filing [44 Pa.B. 554]
[Saturday, January 25, 2014]QCC Insurance Company submitted a rate filing to increase the premium rates for its Medically Underwritten Direct Pay PPO Product. The filing proposes a rate increase of 17% and will affect approximately 13,000 members. The proposed rate increase will generate approximately $2.5 million of additional revenue. The requested effective date of the change is July 1, 2014.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to April 9, 2014, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

A copy of the filing is also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's regional office in Harrisburg.
