DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND NATURAL RESOURCES Proposed Exchange of Land [41 Pa.B. 524]
[Saturday, January 22, 2011]The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (Department), acting through the Bureau of Forestry, and ISP Minerals, Inc. are proposing to negotiate an exchange of property interests Hamiltonban Township, Adams County.
The Commonwealth will convey approximately 110 acres in Hamiltonban Township to ISP Minerals, Inc. In return, ISP Minerals, Inc. will convey three separate tracts to the Commonwealth. The first tract being approximately 60 acres, the second tract containing 21.4 acres and the third tract containing 29 acres and 156 perches. All three tracts are situated in Hamiltonban Township, Adams County and will be added to the Michaux State Forest.
As is the policy of the Department, the public is notified of this exchange. A 30-day period for public inquiry and/or comment will be in effect commencing January 22, 2011, and ending February 21, 2011. These oral and/or written comments will become part of the official document used in the final decision process.
If, in the duration of the 30-day comment period, a significant amount of public concern develops, the Secretary of the Department may schedule a public informational meeting.
