Keystone Health Plan East; Medically Underwritten Individual HMO Product Rate Filing [43 Pa.B. 394]
[Saturday, January 19, 2013]Keystone Health Plan East requests approval to increase the rates for the Medically Underwritten Individual HMO Product. The requested rate increase is 8.9%. The proposed rate increase would affect approximately 20,000 policyholders and would produce additional income of about $8 million annually. The requested effective date of the change is July 1, 2013.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to April 4, 2013, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

A copy of the filing is also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's Harrisburg office.
