Availability of Final General Plan Approval and/or General Operating Permit for Feed Mills (BAQ-GPA/GP-15)

   The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) has finalized the General Plan Approval and General Operating Permit for Feed Mills (BAQ-GPA/GP-15).

   BAQ-GPA/GP-15 applies to the construction, operation and modification of both new and existing feed mills. The applicant must notify the Department using the General Permit Application and receive written approval prior to constructing and/or operating under this General Permit. The owners and operators of existing permitted feed mills may either continue to operate under an existing operating permit, or elect to apply for authorization to use this General Permit. BAQ-GPA/GP-15 is now approved by the Department and available for use by qualifying applicants.
